In 1987, Haresh K. Sippy joined hands with Chetan S. Doshi and Khushroo M. Bulsara to set up TEMA INDIA LTD. Starting with a modest turnover of US $ 100,000 and going on to achieve a turnover of US $ 15 million in the year 1998-99, the company achieved the distinction of becoming the largest manufacturer of Tema-R range of heat exchangers in the country. Tema India Ltd has: An experienced team of design engineers for Thermal and Mechanical design of complex heat exchangers Integrated Mechanical Design and Drawing software After mechanical design, the software automatically generates fabrication drawings to scale along with weights and estimates based on customer’s specifications Software generates 3-D images of the Exchanger thereby providing warning of any foul-up/mismatch in nozzles, RF-Pads and in the dimensions of various components These designs are optimized to arrive at a competitive price Two workshops with a combined built-up area of 215,000 sq. ft. (click here for maps of workshop locations) Capacity - 5000+ tons of Heat Exchangers per annum. During 1998-99, a single project order valued at US$ 13.0 million (81 heat exchangers in various metallurgies) was successfully executed.
