MOA OF CAFFEINE:
CNS stimulant by inhibiting cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase thus preventing the conversion of cyclic AMP to 5’ AMP.
ADVERSE EFFECT OF CAFFEINE:
It may produce confusion, tremor, insomnia, excitement, mild delirium.
USES OF CAFFEINE:
As a stimulant, headache reliever, bronchial asthma, diuretic.
