Description

    The ASD Occlusion is a self-expandable, double disc device made from a Nitinol wire mesh. The two discs are connected by a short cylindrical waist which corresponds to the defect size. In order to increase its closing ability, the device is sewn with polyester patches. The communication is closed by the induction of thrombosis which is accomplished by these patches
