THE CENTRAL INDIA GROUP: The group had a modest beginning in the year 1979 with the establishment of CENTRAL INDIA PACKAGING CO. PVT. Ltd. The unit was set up to cater to the growing needs of Corrugated boxes, Cores and Tubes. In 1980 the second unit of the group CENTRAL INDIA PRINTING CO. was established to meet the excellent response the company was receiving from Customers. This unit besides Corrugated boxes also has the facility for Wax Coated Papers, Rotogravure printing upto 4 colours and also the facility to manufacture Poly bags, Wicketed bags etc. The growing demand for flexible packaging saw the establishment of the third unit of the group ANKIT PACKAGING LIMITED, in 1993. The unit was primarily established to include all types of Flexible packaging materials (Coextruded, Laminated, Poly coated etc). The increase in volumes has necessitated the establishment of a cylinder making plant. CENTRAL INDIA FLEXPACK PVT LTD which has been commissioned in the year 2002 will cater to not only the captive requirement of cylinders of the group but will also be able to handle the requirements of the market. The company also has facilities to make special types of Bags, Pouches, Shrink labels etc. The Group not only offers regular products but also value added services such as • Structural Design of Boxes to optimize performance and costs. • Graphic Designing of Corrugated & Flexible packaging materials for better visual impact & customer appeal.
