Primed Canvas RollsCanvas - The yarn used for the raw fabric selected contributes greatly on the quality and appearance of the canvas. Linen, cotton duck and poly-fibers are widely used fabrics for preparing primed canvas. Coating - The Mona Lisa canvas is applied with an initial base coat (undercoat) followed by the finishing thin layers to achieve the desired finish. Formulated on the basis of a thermoplastic binder, these layers absorb shocks and deformations of the canvas, limit the risks of crackling and the phenomena of micro cracking
